From cheap eats by the waterfront to the numerous wineries Queenstown is a foodies dream. Here are my top five! Have I missed any of your favourites?
Yonder
https://www.yonderqt.co.nz/ 14 Church Street Queenstown
Yonder is the perfect amalgamation of dietary requirements mixed with cafe staples with a twist. Yonder is open for brunch with items such as their vegan, gluten free pancake stack and the vegan butty. They are also open for dinner with enough options for even the fussiest eaters in your group.
Hot tip:
Yonder turns into a club after 10pm on a Friday/Saturday with happy hour between 3-6 and a cocktail happy hour between 9-11!
Ferg Burger
https://www.fergburger.com/ 42 Shotover Street, Queenstown

Fellow coeliacs rejoice because you to can eat Ferg Burger! Pictured here is the falafel burger on a gluten free bun. They have a separate gluten free fryer and can also do hot chips as coeliac. For the meat eaters there are multiple options including fish, pork and venison.
Hot tip:
Ring and place an order before going to skip the queue!
Miss Lucy's
https://www.misslucys.co.nz/ 47 Camp Street, Queenstown
Miss Lucy's make their pizza bases on site. They can do vegan, gluten free and dairy free. The best part being that they have vegan cheese! A bit more on the expensive side but these pizzas are humongous and wood-fired in an electric pizza oven. Perfect to share or take home for lunch the next day.
Hot tip:
Book Miss Lucy's through First Table and only pay half price. Best part this is also during their happy hour (5-7) so half price food and cheap drinks!
World Bar
https://www.theworldbar.co.nz/ 12 Church Street, Queenstown
The World Bar is situated beside Yonder and is the best place to sample a range of meals. If you are fine with sharing I would recommend getting a few different dishes to try. The crusted cauliflower bites are a must have starter followed by vegan tostadas or one of the many burgers on offer. Up for a challenge? Take on the 2016 Best Burger winner: the Mega Burger, for those who are really wanting a hearty meal.
Hot tip:
Home of the teapot cocktail, this is the perfect place to kick off a night on the town.
Taco Medic
https://tacomedic.co.nz/ 3 Searle Lane Queenstown/19 Grant Road, Frankton
This menu is 100% gluten free! So all my coeliac brothers and sisters make sure to check this place out when you are down there.
Hot tip:
They have daily specials and also an occasional special menu item so be on the lookout!
